The absolute worse in customer service
The company who bought my mortgage uses this "financial service" to strong arm the consumer into paying more than what the original mortgage payment was. This company will send us two to three "statements" per month and the amount on the statement is NEVER the same as what the online payment portal states.
Call them and you'll get a young person (usually female) who reads from a script and is of no help whatsoever. If you are two days late in paying, the owner of your mortgage (Marcelle) calls and badgers you.
Apparently needs the money for yet another vacation with his girfriend/mistress whatever. Yeah, ***, maybe make your Facebook profile private!

These {{Redacted}} idiots call me 3 times a day. I got "JD" to tell me his name and company and I stated this and be very calm: "JD, listen to me very carefully.
Take me off your call list immediately. If I get another phone call from your company, I will not only file a civil suit against the company, I will file a civil suit against you personally. " If they get smart with you, add: do you make enough as a telemarketer to hire a lawyer and take time off of work to appear in court? I will remind you to stay very calm and non-threatening.

People with the moral high ground need only state the facts. this tone is recognized by every human being and it is important to not get excited.

OVER CHARGE BAIT AND SWITCH

- Fact that they are intentionally lying
- Not updated and the bait and switch tactics
Preferred solution: FIX MY ACCOUNT AND REPORT TO CREDIT AGENCIES THAT IM NOT LATE AND IN GOOD STANDING
Collection Calls Even When You Are Up To Date
2d Mortgage holder is using these *** for loan servicing. We get between 5-7 letters per month stating they are servicing the loan and how much our payment is per month.
We are always on time with our payment, yet we get phone calls from them ALL THE TIME. Today Vermia called and left a message. I called back and Reynaldo or something like that gets huffy with me asking all these questions. Then very abruptly says, "disregard the call." WTF?
Who is running this company and who is training these kids?
Their entire operation is amateurish and laughable. From the looks of the other complaints on this site, as well as other sites, being jerks to their customers is standard procedure at FCI.
FCI charges unexplainable $8,875 fees???
I currently have a loan with FCI. I'm trying to refi the loan and a $8,875 overdue amount mysteriously popped up on my statement.
I called them and after transferring me around to different people know one can give me an explanation. They told me to write a dispute. I did 3 months ago and I never got any reply. I have called for over 4 months to get this resolved and I have gotten know where.
My maturity date is in less than 2 months and I can't even refi. the loan. My hands are tide and now I'm forced to hire an attorney. This is crazy.
I have cleared checks to prove that I have made every payment on time. IF SOMEONE IS EXPERIENCING THIS PLEASE WRITE, WE NEED TO STOP THIS UNFAIR LENDING PRACTICES.
Get your attorney involved if you have to deal with FCI
I have only had 2 payments so far with FCI since closing recently and they either can't add, can't read and/or are trying to screw their clients they are suppose to be servicing.
"TrustFCI" is their site........oh, the Irony.....
I have made my payments on time since inception with them, yet their statements reflect otherwise. And I have the auto withdrawals from my bank account to prove what a joke this organization is.
They also tried to force charge me for home owners insurance on my condo........
Hello FCI, it's a condo, and a master policy is in place and was provided to you.
Needless to say my attorney is ready to have a field day with this organization in court if this deceptive practice to consumers from them continues.

FCI Lender Services won't post payments on my mortgage.
It is now November 21, I received my payment statement today. It is supposed to show all activity from 10/13/15 to 11/13/15.
I made two payments on their website www.trustfic.com(the name of the website is such a joke) during that time frame. ONe on 10/14/15 and one...
Sent me late notices saying I did not pay. I wrote them as their rules stated I had to do and I got a letter back saying they were looking into. Finally I filed a complaint with Consumerfinance.gov and all of sudden they posted my payments sent me a letter telling me that they had done nothing wrong. I have had problems with them since they took over servicing my loan, usually they sit on my checks for weeks before cashing then so that they could charge me late fees, so I thought paying on line would solve this issue.
Nope not true they just won't credit the payments.
Preferred solution: Company to admit wrongdoing and properly process loan payments on time, adjust all additional interest I have accrued.

This is insane, we received a statement and noticed the interest rates went from 8% to 18%. I am pretty sure this is not a fair lending practice.
FCI and their co-conspirators in deceit Athas have played similar games with me . I am not a disgruntle person, who by not paying or late paying my loan induced them FCI/Athas to put me in a deservied 'failure to pay status," their scheme is cause late fees and accelerated interest .
We are currently in the beginning stages of litigation, which they are causing because, we can not get an accurate accounting , reflecting what is their interest or fees vs payments made. This all started when they received a wire from us and sent the wire back , but, we were not informed about the wire (which was 3 payments) until they began foreclosure proceedings and the reinstatement of the loan was was around 40K above the payments they sent back, in fees,ecelerated interest , attorney cost, etc.
Complete bad faith and their systematic approach of deceitful accounting , inducing fees can only be compared to rogue insurance companies that put people through the ringer with misinformation and deceit until they lose the will to file a claim or receive that which they contracted for and deserve. Sooner or later , FCI/Athas will be exposed in court , likely a class action for their malice , until, then, I strongly advise, no matter what your situation calls for in needing a loan, do not , under any circumstances ever do business with FCI / Athas .
